Principal Miners (Investment Managers)
Who: Registered miners who accept external capital Requirements:
Everything traditional miners need

Build reputation as investment manager
Best for: Established miners wanting to scale operations
Federated Miners (External Investors)
Who: Anyone with USDC and an EVM wallet Requirements:
100k+ USDC minimum
EVM wallet (MetaMask, etc.)
Agreement with a principal miner
Benefits:
No Bittensor infrastructure needed
Access to subnet rewards
Full capital control via smart contracts
Best for: External investors wanting exposure without technical complexity
